Thank you so much….

June 29th, 2008

Thank you so much for remembering our little Piyu. Thank you so much for your continued support. We are really proud of Piyu for connecting all of us together.

On 19th, we visited few orphanages in Bangalore. We spent some time with the children there. There is so much to do in society. So many children are waiting for our support. There are so many people with the big heart, taking care of these children. Really admirable. They are not only feeding these children, but also they are building their career, giving them a new life… The one which touched my heart is “Garden City Jeevitha Anathashrama” which is located in outskirts of Bangalore in KR Puram. One lady is running this orphanage. There is very less attention from the rest of the world but the lady who is running this trust is really dedicated her life to these children. She is doing her best to educate the children. Out of 35 kids, 8 kids are studying in convent and rest are in govt school.

I think they really need all of our support as this trust is not in news / not very much advertised. It is running in isolation. Here is the address and contact details of the trust,

Garden City Jeevitha Anathashrama,
Pruthvi Nivas, Manjunath Layout, Bank colony, Anandapura Main Road,
TC Palya, KR Puram. Bangalore - 560036.
Conact No. +91-80-65591286
Cell No. +91-9343087812

Please keep visiting us and writing us. Your messages and mails gives us new hopes in life to go on.

Regards,
Maltesh and Swati

Piyu we love you dear….

June 19th, 2008

Dearest Piyu,

There is not even a single moment without remembering you.. Life has become meaningless without you.. Tears just rolls down on its own… Every moment, every where we feel your presence. You came in our life as an angel, touched many hearts on this earth, taught us love and shown the power of helping others. You always kept smiling even when you were going through tremendous pain… Your smile always inspires all of us. You always wished and liked smile on Papa and Aayi’s face. How can there be smile Piyu now? Without you how can we smile? We know for sure that you are watching us from there.. You also know that we are living only with the hope that you will come back in our life again. We love you darling… We are proud of you for having such a loving and wonderful child in our life. We love you always…

Lots of love, hugs and kisses…. Papa and Aayi.

Thank you so much all of your prayers. Thank you so much for remembering our Piyu. We both, from the bottom of heart, would like to thank everyone for all your kind support. GOD bless all of you.

February 29th, 2008

First of all, sorry for not writing since many days. As many of you are aware, we have moved from Pune to Bangalore on 16th Feb. We are hoping this change of place may bring some positive changes in our life. Now we are close to my brother and parents place. It was very tough to part off from Siddarth Nagar Society. But memories are always with us. We have found a house and by next week we would be shifting. Till that time we are staying with my brother’s house. I have joined new office on 18th Feb. So far things are going well. Thanks for all your prayers and wishes. Once we settle down, I will continue to write. Please keep in touch.

Happy Birth Day To You Darling Piyu!

January 25th, 2008

Happy Birth Day Piyu! We love you darling, we are missing you every single moment Piyu.
Hugs and kisses,
Papa and Aai

Today on last year, Piyush got up early in the morning. He was really excited. Immediately he kept on asking Doctors that when can he go home.. Doctor came to round at 9:00am. This time Doctor came early as he knew that Piyu had to be discharged. Around 11:00 we got discharged Piyush and we came back home. When the door as opened, Piyu was delighted! He was so happy to see the decoration at home! He immediately hugged me and said “I love you papa”. I still feel that hug.

Whole day he fine tuned the decorations, also opened the gift bags and re arranged everything. Evening as planned, all of his friends came home and cake was cut. He thouroughly enjoyed every moment of it. He played many games with his friend, danced with hsi friends, this was the moment he was waiting for many days.

Birthday preparations…..

January 22nd, 2008

As I mentioned earlier, Piyu’s B’day is coming nearer. 25th Jan is the day when Piyu was born.

Piyush was in Hospital during these days last year. He was anxious and excited to celebrate his birth day. He used to dream big about his b’day celebration. Always he used to tell me “Papa, we will celebrate my B’day in sea beach. I will invite all my of my friends there and we can have real fun”
When the relapse diagnosed, he was very much upset. He knew that all these days he had to be in hospital, same chemo, same injections, same pain… and he might not take his friends to beach.

But he desperately wanted to celebrate at home; if not outside. I remember every moment of those days. So energetic, enthusiasm, how can i put in words! He was undergoing intensive chemo and steroids. As an effect of steroid, he had gained lot of weight.
But he did not keep quite inside the hospital. He used to plan his birth day so well; every day he used to take pen and paper, write down everything that he had in his mind. That includes his friends names to whom he wanted to invite. He had nicely listed all of his close friends. That day evening after my office hours, i was on the way to hospital. Piyu called me and asked me to bring his note book. For my surprise, he had written most of his close friend’s phone nos in that book. He copied all the numbers infront of the list. He started calling up his friends and invited them for his b’day.

Next day second list was ready! He had listed all the Return Gifts. He had written specifically from where to buy and what to buy. Including the make of the gift! He clearly instructed me that “Papa when you go to shop to buy these gifts, please give me call from there. I will explain shopkeeper as what to give. Otherwise You may bring something else” And he did that…. By the time i reach teh shop, i had received many calls from Piyu. The moment i reached shop, again i got his call. I just gave the phone to shopkeeper. He explained to shopkeeper and I had to just pay and get the gift packets!

Next list was menu. he only suggested the menu. He gave that list to his mumma. He knew that it is mumma’s turn.

On 23rd, his Platelet counts were reduced drastically. Then there was slight bleeding in his bladder. He was really worried as this should not hold him back from the B’day celebrations. He kept on asking Doctor that he could go home on his B’day or not. Doctor also was trying his best to control the situation and was keen to discharge him before his b’day. Luckly on 24th night, he was alright and there was no trace of bleeding in his urine. So Piyu was very excited as next day morning he can go home.

On 24th night, we all decorated the house to give Piyu a pleasant surprise. Whole night I was adding up the things which Piyu liked the most.

So we all were, including his friends, relatives and Siddarth Nagar people were waiting for 25th morning……

These are all my collection!

Where is pearl? …Wow! I got it!!!!!

January 6th, 2008

First of all, wish you all a very happy, prosperous and wonderful new year 2008. May this New Year brings lots of joy, hope and very importantly good health to all of you!

January month is very special one for us. Piyush is born on 25th January 2000. I used to tell everyone that we got millennium baby! Normally Piyu used to start planning his birthday since Dec end onwards. I would write in detail as how he used to plan in my next post.

One of the Piyu’s hobbies was Sea Shell collection. He was so passionate about these shell collections; whereever he finds sand, immediately jump in it and start looking for shells! In the society, there is sand which was brought for some construction / repair. Most of the time I used to find him with his friends in search of shells. All his friends used to join him in the process. They are so used to it that even if he is not around, they used to collect the shells and give it to Piyu at our home! Piyu was basically curious about the formation of pearl in shells! He used to search closed shells and open it with hoping that he could find pearl in it. He was searching pearl desperately. I decided to help him. Since we stay away from the sea, we could not have got the real pearl-formed shell. Hence, I got an idea. I just took two identical shells. I bought a pearl and fixed inside the shell with the help of glue. Then i closed the other half of the shell and kept of for drying. While doing all these things, i took care that Piyu does not notice this! Next day i gave this closed shell to Piyu and told him that probably there is pearl inside this shell. Piyu was delighted. He immediately brought a glass of water and immersed the shell inside the water hoping that it will open on its own and pearl can be seen. He patiently and quitely waited for two days. I was amazed by his patience level! On the third day, I could not wait…just opened the shell little bit and told Piyu that shell is opening up. He called all his friends and with so much excitement and curiosity, he opened the shell….. There he had real surprise! He was so excited to see the pearl inside it… Immediately he started shouting.. “papa wow! I got it… I got the pearl!!!!!!!.. He was dancing, screaming and running all over…so happy moments. I just can not forget that wonderful moment! What more we need infront of child’s happiness????. And he took a small box and preserved these shells and pearl in that box. I have kept that box and will post the pics of that magic box and other shells of his own collection in my next posting.

This reminds me about the note written in www.sunitathomas.blogspot.com by Sunita and Thomas who had visited us just before leaving to Singapore. Here is the link..

Magic Sea Shells

Pink shells, white shells, and
shells coloured blue;
Smooth shells, crinkled shells,
old shells and new;
Striped shells, and plain
shells lift by the tide;
My shell is magic - the sea sings inside.

No Papa, either you are wrong or telling me lie. I will tell you the answer…….

December 19th, 2007

One of my brother’s friends called y’day evening. He touched the below incident. I thought of sharing with you all…….

It was last Nov. my elder brother had come to Pune to attend a seminar. He was accompanied by couple of his colleagues. They had put up in a hotel near to the seminar hall. One evening we invited them for dinner. Piyush was excited to welcome the guests. After the dinner, I decided to drop them to the hotel. Piyush also wanted to come with me to drop the uncles. On the way, there is a police station and very old, damaged bus is parked in front of the police station.

Very innocently Piyu asked me, “Papa why this bus is standing here?”

I jokingly replied “since bus can not sit, so it is standing here” Everyone laughed.

He was bit angry and firmly told me “Papa I am serious, please give me correct answer”.

Then I thought it is not good to tell him about accidents etc, so I told him that the life of the bus is over, so it is parked here.

He again asked me “what do you mean by life over?”

I said, “This bus is running for so many years and the entire engine and other parts are worn out. Hence it can not move further”. Then I gave example of his toys and explained him. I thought I have answered him to his satisfaction.

Then he asked me, “Papa why it is parked in front of police station? It should have been parked at owner’s house”

I told him that there is no space in front of the bus owner house, so it is parked here.

For couple of minutes he kept quite. We all thought he is satisfied with answers he got. But then immediately he said, “No Papa, either you are wrong or telling me lie. I will tell you the answer. This bus is met with an accident; hence Police have seized this bus”

I was really surprised to see the GK of Piyu!

Everyone was amazed by the way Piyu checks!

7/12…

December 8th, 2007

Yesterday exactly one year up, Piyush was diagnosed relapse. That was the day whole desaster started. I have mentioned in detail in my earlier note. But nothing can be done, we only wish we could have reversed the time!

Thank you so much for all your emotional support. Thank you so much for such a beautyful note! I would like to post it once again,

“Certain people and places are carried in our memory forever. May it
ease your pain to know that There will come a day when the tears of
sorrow will softly flow into tears of remembrance… and your heart
will begin healing itself… and grieving will be interrupted by
episodes of joy… and you will hear the whisper of hope. There will
come a day when you will welcome the tears of remembrance … as a
sunshower of the soul … a turning of the tide … a promise of peace.
There will come a day when you will … risk loving… go on
believing… and treasure the tears of remembrance. Cherish every
memory you had. We are all here for you.”

This note gives all together new angle to our life. It brings ray of hopes to live. Thank you so much Ipshita ji.

Wow! Shark - sweet memory at Santosa

November 30th, 2007

Before hospitalisation, Piyush was fortunate enough to visit many places in Singapore and he enjoyed every moment there. When he visited Santosa, he was very happy and very much excited to see the under water world! I had captured that sweet moment, Here is the clipping,
