Friday, January 9th, 2009

First of all, wish you all a very happy and healthy new year. May this new year brings lots of joy, happiness and health to all of you..

I am in touch with Vijayram’s father regularly. Master Vijayram underwent BMT on Dec’08 in Apollo Hospital Chennai. He has received haplo transplant. As usual, after BMT, there is waiting time and everyone anxious to see the gowth of  WBC. Because of millions of prayers he is receiving, his counts are GROWING!. This is the great moment for him, his parents, doctors and every one of us too! Today when I spoke to them, I got to know that counts reached to 400! Now onwards, counts will grow rapidly. Please keep your prayers on… There is long journey ahead of him.. Let us pray for his quick recovery.

I could speak to Vijayram also.. He was mentioning me that he is perfectly alright! Only thing, Doc is not allowing him to go out! I was amazed to see his courage and the spirit. I was so happy to listen his voice.

Well, Vijayram still has to travel long way… Day by day financial pressure is monting on his parents. They are in need of all of our support. Please come forward and help what ever you can. This is great opportunity to do bit for this child. Here is Vijayram’s contact no. +919444261444

Dear All,

I came across a little boy who is battling for his life. He is fighting hard with Chemo, radiations etc.. Hie parents have taken this tough task to save thier child. Here is the appeal from the boy and his parents, (Please visit website www.http://www.savevijayram.com)

Master Vijay Ram, 11 years survived by his father & mother hails from a middle class family.  Vijay Ram is diagnosed for ACUTE MYELOID LEUKAEMIA (Blood Cancer) and has been on Chemotherapy since January 2008. He has been on medication at Apollo Speciality Hospital, Chennai under Dr. REVATHI RAJ, Consultant in Paediatric Haemotology, Bone Marrow Transplantation.

Vijay Ram speaks…..

Despite five courses of Chemotherapy administered on me, am now under remission. My only ray of hope, Doctor Consultant Haematologist Dr. Revathy Raj is of the opinion that Unrelated Cord Blood Transplantation will be curative for this condition. The cost of the said treatment is estimated to be around Rs. 30 Lakhs. The nearest matching Stem Cells is from the US but the price of the cord blood is very expensive.   With lot of difficulties my father has managed to raise funds to meet the cost of the treatment given so far. My poor dad has exhausted all avenues to raise funds for further treatment and is now thrown all hopes to the hands of the Nobel & kind hearted Philanthropists.   I therefore, request you to consider my appeal on behalf of me, my loving family members & friends to sympathetically consider my fight for survival on humanitarian grounds and donate funds to save me along with your prayers for my speedy and complete recovery.

Yours Lovingly,

Vijay Ram

Thank you so much….

Thank you so much for remembering our little Piyu. Thank you so much for your continued support. We are really proud of Piyu for connecting all of us together.

On 19th, we visited few orphanages in Bangalore. We spent some time with the children there. There is so much to do in society. So many children are waiting for our support. There are so many people with the big heart, taking care of these children. Really admirable. They are not only feeding these children, but also they are building their career, giving them a new life… The one which touched my heart is “Garden City Jeevitha Anathashrama” which is located in outskirts of Bangalore in KR Puram. One lady is running this orphanage. There is very less attention from the rest of the world but the lady who is running this trust is really dedicated her life to these children. She is doing her best to educate the children. Out of 35 kids, 8 kids are studying in convent and rest are in govt school.

I think they really need all of our support as this trust is not in news / not very much advertised. It is running in isolation. Here is the address and contact details of the trust,

Garden City Jeevitha Anathashrama,
Pruthvi Nivas, Manjunath Layout, Bank colony, Anandapura Main Road,
TC Palya, KR Puram. Bangalore - 560036.
Conact No. +91-80-65591286
Cell No. +91-9343087812

Please keep visiting us and writing us. Your messages and mails gives us new hopes in life to go on.

Regards,
Maltesh and Swati

Dearest Piyu,

There is not even a single moment without remembering you.. Life has become meaningless without you.. Tears just rolls down on its own… Every moment, every where we feel your presence. You came in our life as an angel, touched many hearts on this earth, taught us love and shown the power of helping others. You always kept smiling even when you were going through tremendous pain… Your smile always inspires all of us. You always wished and liked smile on Papa and Aayi’s face. How can there be smile Piyu now? Without you how can we smile? We know for sure that you are watching us from there.. You also know that we are living only with the hope that you will come back in our life again. We love you darling… We are proud of you for having such a loving and wonderful child in our life. We love you always…

Lots of love, hugs and kisses…. Papa and Aayi.

Thank you so much all of your prayers. Thank you so much for remembering our Piyu. We both, from the bottom of heart, would like to thank everyone for all your kind support. GOD bless all of you.

First of all, sorry for not writing since many days. As many of you are aware, we have moved from Pune to Bangalore on 16th Feb. We are hoping this change of place may bring some positive changes in our life. Now we are close to my brother and parents place. It was very tough to part off from Siddarth Nagar Society. But memories are always with us. We have found a house and by next week we would be shifting. Till that time we are staying with my brother’s house. I have joined new office on 18th Feb. So far things are going well. Thanks for all your prayers and wishes. Once we settle down, I will continue to write. Please keep in touch.
