Today is really a good day. We got call from hospital. They have received cytogenetic test reports. “There is a mirracle!” report is very clear from the philadelphia chromosomes! How can I thank GOD! He is the one who is guiding us through! My heartfelt thanks to all of you for your millions and millions of precious prayers because of which this mirracle happened! This is the power of prayers!

Now from Monday onwards Piyush will be put on transplant procedure. 

Please pray for Piyush. All of your Prayers are really working and working!

Today as usual we started day with lot of prayers because we had to get the Cytogenetic test reports today. We met Dr. Patrick Tan. Doc is satisfied with the overall progress. But Cytogenetic reports are not yet ready and will be available by Monday. So waiting continues till Monday.

Secondly, we had tested his HLA Typing in India. Based on those reports, Mount Elizabeth had identified the matches. But last week Hospital has repeated the HLA typing with HIGH RESOLUTION method. To our surprise, there is miss match in the findings!. So now Doc had advised to repeat the test at New York from where we are planning to get the stem cells. However, in both the cases, matches are available. But this may delay the process by another week. 

Piyush is continued to be in remission. His counts are also at satisfactory level. He is having his best days here. Thanks to the angels, who are trying to give him all the happiness. He is enjoying lot here. Today when we met Doc, Piyush informed Doc that he is going back to India. Doc asked him why. He says, he is really missing his DAV Public School and Siddarth Nagar friends! (Last day I just overheard while playing with his new friends, he was taking all of his friends names, describing their nature) 

Once again our heartfelt gratitude to merciful angel, who found a seperate house for us in order to maintain isolation for Piyush. We had been to that house today. This house is very close to the hospital. Only 5 minutes walking distance from the hospital. It is spacious and self sufficient. We will shift there by today evening or tomorrow morning.

Yesterday evening Piyush heard from his friends that night safari is worth visiting. After so much of negotiations, finally we had to take him to night safari. We started with the “fire dance” at 8:00pm. He enjoyed every moment of the dance by sitting on front row. After that we took him to safari. He was really excited to see the wild life at night! He must have mentioned more than 10 times “Thank you papa for taking me to safari, u are nice papa” What moment those were! When we reached Leopard trail, he was so excited to see leopard running in front of us (offcourse inside the glass barrier); he started racing with leopard. We got down from the tram in the middle of the forest. Almost one hour he walked inside the dark and thick forest and saw the wild life thoroughly.  At the end, he expressed “one thing is missing here, which could have made this jungle more beautiful”. I asked him about the missing animal. He concluded saying that “it is PEACOCK”.

I think we all have to agree with him. What do you say? 

Today we went to Hospital, once again blood test was done. After one hour, we got the CBC report and also we got BMA results. It is good to know that there is an upward trend in his counts. We met Dr. Patrick Tan and he is quite satisfied with BMA result also. His complete remission status is confirmed once again! Thanks to GOD and thanks to all of you for your continued blessings and prayers. That is really working! Cytogenetic report, which is the most crucial, is expected to be available by next Wednsday. Our next appointment with Doc is fixed to next Thursday.

Till that time what to do?

Piyush found answer for that. As soon as we enterd the Doc room, Piyush started asking questions and got clarifications to his satisfactory. So, he got clearance from Doc to visit beach,   zoo, water park etc! So, he has reason to move around now! Doc complimented Piyush saying that what a matured kid!

After we left Hospital, we met Shalini and Benifer, board members of Indian Women Association of Singapore. They have offered us the helping hands. Really kind people! Now we are almost confident about Singapore stay and feeling as if in India.

TODAY WHOLE DAY PIYUSH WAS PLAYING WITH HIS FAVOURITE POKEMAN TOYS. HE IS ENJOYING THE COMPANY OF AYUSH AND SHIVAM. EVENING HE WAS DELIGHTED TO SEE SHIPS MOVEMENT IN THE SEA FROM 25TH FLOOR PENT HOUSE. WHAT A SIGHT IT WAS! IT WAS JUST LIKE PAINTING ON A CALENDER!

WE WENT TO HOSPITAL FOR COLLECTING SOME OF THE REPORTS. BUT WE WERE ASKED TO COME TOMORROW MORNING AT 11:00 am ALONG WITH PIYUSH. AGAIN COUPLE OF TEST TO BE DONE TOMORROW.  WE SPENT SOME TIME IN HOSPITAL TO SEE THE FACILITIES INSIDE. IT IS ONE OF THE BEST HOSPITAL WE EVER SEEN.  THANKS TO GOD, SO FAR EVERYTHING IS GOING WELL. WE ARE DESPERATELY PRAYING HIM TO GIVE ALL THE STRENGTH AND POWER TO PIYUSH TO FIGHT THE BATTLE AND WIN THE BATTLE.

PIYUSH UNDERWENT BMA YESTERDAY, THE RESULTS OF WHICH WILL BE KNOWN TO US BY NEXT WEEK. IN THE MEANTIME, PIYUSH HAS SOME NEW FRIENDS WITH WHOM HE IS HAVING THE TIME OF HIS LIFE !! THANK YOU FOR THE SUPPORT AND WISHES THAT YOU CONTINUE TO POUR IN FOR PIYUSH.

PIYUSH AND HIS FAMILY HAVE SAFELY AND SUCCESSFULLY ARRIVED IN SINGAPORE AND ARE STAYING WITH A WONDERFULLY KIND HEARTED FAMILY WHO ARE SPARING NO EFFORTS AND LEAVING NO STONE UN-TURNED IN MAKING THE STAY OF PIYSUH AND HIS FAMILY AS COMFORTABLE AS POSSIBLE.

EVEN AS I WRITE THIS UPDATE, PIYUSH IS UNDERGOING BMA (BONE-MARROW ASPIRATION) TO CHECK FOR ANY SIGN OF THE PC (PHILADELHPIA CHROMOSOME). ONCE DOCTORS ARE CONVINCED THERE ISN’T ANY PC THEN THEY GO AHEAD WITH THE TRANSPLANT, OTHERWISE PIYUSH WILL UNDERGO CHEMOTHERAPHY TO BRING THE PC UNDER REMISSION. THIS RESULT WILL BE KNOWN TO US TODAY.

IT IS ALSO GOOD TO KNOW THAT FRIENDS HAVEN’T STOPPED DONATING TO HELP PIYUSH. WE WILL KEEP THIS UPDATED…KEEP READING…..

GREAT NEWS! PIYUSH AND HIS PARENTS LEAVE FOR SINGAPORE ON SUNDAY EARLY MORNING. LETS GIVE THE BRAVE CHERUB A MIGHTY SENDOFF WITH ALL OUR LOVE AND BEST WISHES AS HE MAKES HIS WAY TO MOUNT ELIZABETH HOSPITAL. LET’S FILL HIS HEART AND THAT OF HIS FAMILY WITH ALL OUR PRAYERS SO HE HAS A SMOOTH, SUCCESSFUL TREATMENT. THIS IS INDEED A VERY HOPEFUL AND CHEERFUL TIME FOR THE FAMILY AS THE FUNDS RAISED BY ONE AND ALL, THAT IS STILL POURING IN, IS THE REASON PIYUSH AND HIS FAMILY WILL COME BACK JOYOUSLY VICTORIOUS !!
